Krishna janmashtami is the annual festival of Hindu religion, Its a day when the lord Krishna come to this world to help the humanity form the devils. The people who take fast in this day, should feed the Brahmin on the day of Navami and give it a dakshina. The devotees who fast on Janmashtami should pass the fast on the day of Navam.
