He was one of those people who changed the dream of freedom of the people in reality with his great ideals and supreme sacrifice. He is still remembered for his great work and the main qualities such as non-violence, truth, love and brotherhood. He was not born great but he made himself great through his difficult struggle and actions. They were influenced by the life of Raja Harishchandra, a play named Raja Harishchandra. After his schooling, he completed the degree of law from England and started his career as an advocate. They had to face many difficulties in their lives, but as a great leader, they continued to keep going.

He started many mass movements on the path of freedom of India such as the non-cooperation movement in 1920, the Civil Disobedience Movement in 1930 and finally the Quit India Movement in 1942. After a lot of struggle and work, the British government had to give independence to India. He was a very ordinary person who worked to remove color barrier and caste barrier. He also worked for the removal of untouchables from Indian society and gave the names of untouchables to “Harijan” which means people of God.

He was a great social reformer and Indian freedom fighter and after completing the purpose of his life he passed away. He inspired the Indian people for physical work and asked to arrange all the resources to live a simple life and become self dependent. To avoid the use of foreign goods and to promote the use of indigenous goods, we started weaving cotton cloth by Charkha. He was a great supporter of agriculture and inspired people to do agricultural work. He was a spiritual person and brought spirituality in Indian politics. He died on January 30, 1948, and his body was cremated at Rajghat, New Delhi. To pay homage to them, on January 30, India is celebrated every year as martyrdom day.

Mahatma Gandhi was a great freedom fighter, he spent his whole life in the struggle for independence of India. He was born in Porbandar, Gujarat, on 2 October 1869 in a Hindu family. He spent his entire life as a leader of the Indian people. His whole life story is a great inspiration for us. They are called Bapu or Father of the Fathers because they spent all their life fighting to fight against British rule to give us freedom. During the fight with the British to get the freedom, they took the help of weapons such as non-violence and satyagraha movement. Many times he was arrested and sent to jail several times, but he never discouraged himself and continued the fight for national independence.

They are the real fathers of our country because they actually used all their powers to free us from British rule. He truly understands the power of the unity of people (different caste, religion, community, caste, age or gender) which he used in all his freedom movement. Eventually through mass movements, he forced the British to leave India completely on August 15, 1947. From 1947 to 15 August, India is celebrated every year as the Independence Day.

He could not continue his life after India’s independence in 1947 because he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse, one of the Hindu activists on January 30, 1948. He was a great personality, he passed his entire life till his death for his homeland. He liberated our life from the British rule with the true light. He proved that everything is possible with the non-violence and unity of the people. After many years of his death, he is alive in the heart of every Indian as “Bapu and the Father of the Nation”.

The child of India knows Mahatma Gandhi’s name and cheers him. He is not only a great figure of India, but it is counted among the world’s greatest figures. India considers them the Father of the Nation. We call them Bapu with respect and reverence. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Their parents and education:

Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar city, situated in the Kathiawar region of Gujarat state. His father, Rajkot princely state Diwan His mother was a great gentleman and a woman with religious views. From childhood, Gandhi had made religious attempts to hear and hear religious stories.

At the age of seven, he was sent to school. He was a mediocre student in school studies. But they used to regularly reach their classes at the right time, and read the text with the mind. After passing the matriculation exam, he went to England to study in law and later to study law.

In London, he met Mrs. Annie Birenant and with his inspiration, Gandhiji read the literature of Tolstoy. Talstoy’s ideas impressed him big. In 1891, he obtained a degree in law.

As a lawyer:

By completing his studies, he returned to India. He had great love for his mother and he was shocked by the news of his mother’s death, but after some time he went to Bombay to start practicing. His advocacy did not go right there. He returned to Rajkot and started trying to establish his advocacy. The main reason for not following their advocacy was that they did not accept false cases.

His work in South Africa:

After some time, fortunately he found a big Indian businessman, who had a big business in South Africa. He needed a good lawyer in South Africa in one of his involved lawsuits. He prepared Gandhiji for doing this job by paying a huge fee. He called Gandhi to South Africa.

By reaching South Africa, they saw the people of Indian origin in a very pitiable state. They decided to improve their condition and gave Indians an understanding of their rights. They organized them by bringing awareness into them.

The Congress which he founded for Indians in South Africa, is still a major party there. Gandhiji and his companions were imprisoned and sentenced, but they did not give up their fight.

After the passing of an Indian Relief Act passed in 1914, the situation of the people of Indian origin improved greatly after that.

His work in India:

After success in South Africa’s movement, Ghodi returned to India. He became a member of the Congress Party. They gave new education to the party and gave new education to the freedom movement. Soon he became its leader.

Under his leadership, the Congress adopted the path of non-violence and strongly opposed the non-cooperation movement of British rule. They protested against the Rowlett Act and other black laws.

At the same time, he suggested the creative work like the Congress party and the Hindu-Muslim unity in front of the society. Against the untouchability, he raised a loud voice and gave untouchable respectable advices like ‘Harijan’. On the protection of Hindu-Muslim unity

He gave up his life. The British Government made every effort to suppress the independence movement. Many times he caught Gandhiji and other Indian leaders and put them in prison. But he gave freedom to India. India became independent on August 15, 1947.

His murder:

Gandhiji was accidentally killed A mad young man roasted him with a golio in prayer. He was a fierce opponent of Gandhiji’s ideas. His assassination took place on January 30, 1948.

His character:

Gandhiji was a person of great religious instincts. They used to follow the truth themselves and advised everyone to walk on the true path. They used to live a very simple life. He used to take care of poor, sick and sick. His personality was unique. He always adopted the path of truth and non-violence.

He surprised the world by giving freedom to India through non-violence. He was a great saint. They were the priests of peace. He has done a lot of work to give recognition to untouchables and backward castes in society.

Gandhiji was great man. He was an ideal Guru, great speaker, great thinker and a cunning person. They will always be remembered in the whole world with great respect.
